St. Augustine Royal Family 2010

Katie Raulerson is the new princess of St. Augustine today for 2010. The Royal Family are official representatives of the City of St. Augustine. The Castillo de San Marcos, was commissioned in 1672. The Spanish Royal Family at that time consisted of Queen Marianna, Princess Margarita and the boy-King Carlos. This is symbolic of Spain’s history as it overlaps that of St. Augustine. Congratulations Katie!

I had a blast in St. Augustine Downtown with Sarah and Katie Raulerson and her family and friends, watching her become the new princess of St. Augustine for 2010.
The celebration took place at the Queen Isabella's Park at 3pm today!

Katie as Princess Margarita Maria, represents the ruling family in Spain in 1672, the year construction was begun on the Castillo de San Marcos, now a national monument.

There were spanish dances and enterteinment Spanish style...

Happy New Year 2010 in Punta NEGRA LIMA PERU
